The average wage in Albania would be around £150@ month ($225@month), and many of our families live in rented accommodation. The rent of a normal 2 bedroom apartment (which is not central, and not in great condition) would be at least £100@month ($150@month). Most of our families have both partners in work and we feel very blessed to have so many in employment.

The fellowship at Shkoder (just over 60 believers) gives on average around £360@month ($540@month) in their offering, and on top of this around £190@ month ($270@month) to support the full time workers.

However, it is impossible for the fellowship to support ALL the church programs and to support totally the running of the nursery, the support of the full time workers, the general upkeep and rent of our hall, and the funds needed for the new building.

Therefore we appreciate greatly those who have felt moved by the Lord to give for the work of the Lord here in Albania.
